Mary A. Wakeman
Mary A. Wakeman, age 50, died December 18, 2009, at her Fowler residence.
She was born March 29, 1959, at Pensacola, Florida, the daughter of Marion Ward and Mary Kay (Brown) Racobs.   She was a graduate of Dodge City Community College, receiving her Associate of Arts degree.  A resident of Fowler for twenty-five years, moving from Colorado, she was employed at the Meade District Hospital, in medical records.
Mary enjoyed horses, animals, and fishing
On November 25, 1984, she married Brent Wakeman.  He survives.
Other survivors include A daughter, Rachel Clowdis and husband, Justin of Minneola, Kansas; Mother, Mary Kay Racobs of Fowler, Kansas; Two brothers, Edward Byrne of Thousand Oaks, California and Brent Racobs of Illinois; A granddaughter.
She is preceded in death by her father.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 22, 2009, at Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary Chapel, Meade, Kansas, with Reverend Ron Willard presiding. Cremation followed at the conclusion of the service.
