Elizabeth S. Klassen
Elizabeth S. Klassen, 79, Liberal, KS, died Saturday, July 24, 2010 
at Southwest Medical Center, Liberal, KS.
She was born April 23, 1931 at Meade, KS, the daughter of
John H. & Sara Reimer Doerksen.
She attended school at Meade. On October 25, 1964, she married
Raymond D. Klassen at Meade, KS, he preceded her in death. Elizabeth 
and her family came to Liberal in 1969, and was very involved in 
volunteer work for the church, El Cetera Shop, Coronada Museum
and many other organizations. She was a member of the 
Emmanuel Mennonite Church, Mead, KS.
She is survived by two sons, John Klassen and wife Anna, Liberal, KS;
Dr. Walter Klassen and wife Susy, Woodward, OK; one daughter,
Martha Walker, Augusta, KS; one brother, Pete Doerksen and wife
Lydia, Meade, KS; four sisters, Lena Doerksen, Dodge City, KS;
Sarah Peters and husband Jonie, Reedley, CA; Alma Freisen and
husband Ray, Edmond, OK; Anna Freisen and husband Alvin, 
Hesston, KS; nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 
her parents and husband.
Funeral service will conducted 10:00 A.M. Thursday at the 
Emmanuel Mennonite Church, Mead, KS, with Rev. Rusty
Callahan presiding.
Interment will be in the Emmanuel Mennonite Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Miller Mortuary 9 A.M.-8 P.M. Wednesday.
