Helen L. Reimer
Helen L. Reimer, age 92, died Tuesday evening, November 9, 2010, at the Pratt Regional Medical Center, Pratt, Kansas.
She was born October 1, 1918, at Buhler, Kansas, the daughter of Abram and Sara (Thiessen) Dick.  As a young girl she attended Reno County Public Schools and Bible School at Zoar Academy in rural Buhler.  During her high school years she committed her life to Christ.  
On August 25, 1948, she married Henry D. Reimer at Buhler, Kansas.  After her marriage the couple made their home in rural Meade County.  She was a homemaker. 
Helen was a member of the Emmanuel Mennonite Church, Meade, serving as a Sunday school teacher, assisting with AWANA Cubbies, the Ladies Sewing Society, and the church social committee.  She enjoyed cooking, serving others, and spending time with her family and friends. 
She is survived by: Her husband, Henry D. Reimer of Meade, Kansas; A daughter, Kathy Kliewer and husband Phil of Atkinson, Nebraska; Three sons, David Reimer and wife Kay of rural Meade, Kansas, Leo Reimer and wife Debby of rural Meade, Kansas and Wayne Reimer of rural Meade, Kansas; 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Eddie Dick and George Dick; and three sisters, Martha Franz, Kathryn Schroeder, and Sara Classen. 
Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 13, 2010, at the Emmanuel Mennonite Church, Meade, with Pastor Ken Harder presiding. Interment was in the Emmanuel Mennonite Church Cemetery, rural Meade. 
The family would welcome memorials to Teens Living for Christ (TLC) in care of Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary, Meade.
