Craig Wayne Unruh
Craig Wayne Unruh, age 39, died Tuesday evening, September 7, 2010, in rural Osceola, Iowa, as the result of a motorcycle accident.
He was born May 27, 1971, at Wasco, California, the son of Richard “Dick” and Carol (Loewen) Unruh.  As a young boy he attended school in Meade, graduating from Meade High School in 1989.  Upon his graduation, he attended Tabor College, graduating in 1993.  After his graduation, he returned to Meade and began farming with his father.
On January 1, 1994, he married Charla Regier in Clinton, Oklahoma.  After their marriage the couple made their home in Meade.  In January, 2005, they purchased Back Room Printing in Meade and have been actively involved in many community events.
He was a member of Emmanuel Mennonite Church, Meade, serving as a worship leader, Deacon, and Awana leader; was the current president of the Meade Chamber of Commerce; actively involved with the Positive Pursuits; and a member of the Friends of the Meade State Lake.  Craig had many things that brought a smile to his face but nothing more than spending time with his children and family.
He is survived by: His wife, Charla Unruh of Meade, Kansas; Children, Jonathan Unruh and Kiana Unruh of Meade, Kansas; His parents, Dick and Carol Unruh of rural Meade, Kansas; Two brothers, Bryce Unruh of Erie, Colorado, Kory Unruh of Fairview, Oklahoma; Mother and Father-in-law, Charles and Carol Regier of Corn, Oklahoma; Brother-in-law, Chris Regier of Enid, Oklahoma.
Celebration of Life services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 13, 2010, at the Meade High School Auditorium, Meade, with the Reverend Ken Harder presiding.  Friends may sign the register book at Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary, Meade.  Interment will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Emmanuel Mennonite Church Cemetery, rural Meade.
The family would welcome memorials to the Craig Unruh Children Education Fund in care of the funeral home.
