Terri S. Avery
Terri S. Avery, age 53, died Wednesday, August 27, 2008, at her Meade, Kansas, residence.
She was born July 21, 1955, at Meade, the daughter of Robert Lee and Peggy (Quesenbury) Boyd.  As a young girl she attended school in Meade and Winfield.  She later attended Butler County Community College, receiving her nursing degree.  She later returned to Meade in 1998 working as a nurse.
She was a member of the Church of Christ, and had also attended the Church of the Nazarene, both of Meade.  Terri enjoyed painting figurines, listening to music, and working in her yard.
She married Grant Cole.  The couple later divorced.  She later married David Avery.  He precedes her in death.
Other survivors include: A son, David Cole of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Two daughters, Crystal Cole of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Sara Beth Richardson of Meade, Kansas; Her mother, Peggy Boyd of Meade, Kansas; A brother, Jerry Boyd, wife Belinda, and son Aaron of Louisville, Colorado; Aunt, Sue Feldman and husband, Matt of Perryton, Texas; Uncle, Lloyd Hutchison of Enid, Oklahoma; Three grandchildren, Robert Watkins, Amber Watkins, and Edward Cole; Numerous cousins
She is preceded in her father, Robert Boyd; and grandparents, Veal & Irene Quesenbury, and Richard & Elsie Boyd.
Celebration of life graveside services were held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 30, 2008, at the Graceland Cemetery, Meade, with Minister Tom Elliott and Reverend Ron Willard presiding. Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary, Meade is in charge of arrangements.
