Marjorie Colbert
Marjorie M. Colbert, age 78, died Tuesday, August 19, 2008, at the Meade District Hospital, Meade, Kansas. 
She was born May 31, 1930, at Meade, Kansas, the daughter of Robert and Hannah (Borchers) Pilkinton.  As a young girl she attended the Meade school system, graduating from Meade High School in 1950.  A longtime resident of Meade, living in Dodge City from 1976 until 1993, she was a counselor for New Chance, Inc.
 She attended Saint John Lutheran Church.   Marjorie enjoyed gardening and spending time caring for her flowers.
 In the early 1950’s she married Robert Webb.  The couple later divorced in 1962.  She then married Tom Colbert in 1977. 
Survivors include: Two daughters, Beverly Dalton of Meade, Kansas and Marilyn Dooley of Clifton, Arizona; Three grandchildren and Five great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Mary Bell Whitehead. 
Celebration of life services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 22, 2008, at Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary, Meade, with inurnment to follow in the Graceland Cemetery, Meade. 
The family would welcome memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association in care of the mortuary.
