Judith Ann “Judi” Feist
Judith Ann “Judi” Feist, age 68, died Friday morning, August 8, 2008, at the Meade District Hospital, Meade, Kansas.
 She was born June 13, 1940, at Horton, Kansas, the daughter of Hubert Rex and Mildred (McCrary) Worley.  As a young girl she attended the Horton school system.  Upon her graduation, she attended the University of Kansas later transferring to Ottawa University, graduating with her degree in business administration and social services.  A resident of Meade since August of 2001, she was the Executive Director for the United Tribes of Northeast Kansas & Southeast Nebraska, the Tulsa Community Action Agency, and Bethphage Missions South of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Meade, and was a member of several professional organizations.  Judi enjoyed swimming, gardening, watching cooking programs, and, in her younger years, working with horses, having received an American Royal Blue Ribbon in 1958.
She is survived by: Her life partner, Philip Brown of Meade, Kansas; Two sons, Russell “Russ” Feist and wife, Brenda, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Todd Feist and wife, Susan, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; A sister, Joan Coankey of Brownsville, Texas; A granddaughter, Zada LeBrown
She is preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Lanny Worley.
Private family services were held Sunday, August 10, 2008.  The family would welcome memorials to the United Methodist Church, in care of Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary, Meade.
