VBS
The Meade Nazarene Church invites all kids ages 3 to 11 to our annual VBS, Tuesday, May 28th, through Friday, May 31st. Time: 6:30 to 8:15 pm. This VBS has a Fun Fair/Circus theme – if children so choose, they invited to wear a circus themed costume/hat. Contact us at 873-2951.
Veterans Day Program
Kansas American Legion Blake-Bankson Post 312 will hold a memorial program at 10 am in the Plains Cemetery on Monday, May 27th. Our thanks to all military personnel.
VBS
All children ages 3 years through fifth grade are invited to get Moooovin’ to Hay Day VBS at the Meade United Methodist Church. This two-day event will be on Thursday, May 30th and Friday, May 31st, from 9 to 11:30 am. We’ll have acres of fun as we grow in friendship with Jesus. Call 873-2402 to pre-register.
Mission Mart
Mission Mart at the United Methodist Church in Meade is open the second and fourth Fridays of every month from 1:30 to 3:30 pm at 203 N. Park. They offer affordable used clothing for all ages. New expanded hours starting in February, the first Saturday of every month they will be open from 9:30 to 11:30 am.
Plains Thrift Shop
The Plains Thrift Shop is open on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 pm and on Friday afternoon from 2 to 4 pm at 505 W B in Plains.
